Orange Cassette Player + Blank tape

I only have a few small gripes, but they're not worth a dramatic reduction in points. For starters, I feel the device is probably unnecessarily large, which reduces the practicality of taking it with you everywhere. The second is that the record button on the model I received isn't perfectly straight and is slightly skewed off to one side, but it's pretty subtle... enough to notice it but not enough to prevent it from working. It also has a little bit of give horizontally, noticing that I am able to tilt the button a little off to either side, whereas the other buttons do not shift about in the same way. I'm slightly nervous that the record button may some day fail altogether.

The other two are the price and the choice in wireless headphone technology — it's a steep investment for a personal cassette player at $159 USD. And the wireless headphone technology, I would have much preferred Bluetooth capability instead of some proprietary tech. But both of these things I can live with.

One other thing that mildly concerns me is that when the lithium battery dies someday, there's no obvious way to replace it with a new battery — I'd rather not have to send this all the way back to France just to get a new battery installed. The instructions warn to only have the battery replaced by a qualified technician — I'm not sure who that would be in this day and age — but there's no obvious external-facing screws to allow you to get in and replace the battery when that day comes.

On the whole though I've really enjoyed it so far — the components are high quality, the form factor's pleasing, and the esthetic delightful. I'd much rather use this device to listen to my cassettes than gamble it with a used or "new"-in-box Walkman that's nearly 30 years old. This was a good buy — I just hope that "We Are Rewind" is helpful for things like battery replacement or fixing malfunctioning buttons. This seems like a device that I'd want to repair and keep up than just discard like every other "disposable" device out there.

This one is realy nice. good sound quality and the hardware is just awesome.

Item good however after paying £18 postage i then unexpectadly had to also pay £36 import tax or i would not receive it.

Po paru dniach użytkowania mogę stwierdzić że ten odtwarzacz posłuży długo. Jakość odtwarzanego dźwięku jest w porządku. Czas pracy na baterii jest ok. Drzwiczki są źle spasowane i czasem zacinają się przy zamykaniu. Mam uwagi co do nagrywania. Auto poziom jest o wiele za nisko, przez co słyszalne są szumy. Wolałbym stratę na dynamice/soft-clipping niż szumy na nagraniu. Przy niektórych utworach jazzowych auto poziom kompletnie psuje dynamikę utworu.

Jeśli chodzi o samą kasetę to jestem w pełni zadowolony, żeczywiście dobra jakość i ładne opakowanie.
